The CR2025 type lithium battery lasts a minimum of 12 months. The backlight of the NEOLOG A-24 II watch requires a lot of power. Using this function frequently shortens battery lifetime. This lithium battery is standard and can be changed at a specialist outlet - please do not change the battery yourself!

The serial number of your NEOLOG A-24 II wrist watch
A unique serial number is engraved on the back of each NEOLOG A-24 II watch. Whether you have bought your NEOLOG A-24 II yourself or received as a gift - by specifying the serial number of your watch you are always assured the best of NeologStore service.

The accuracy
of our watches is +/- 30 seconds per month. Many manufacturers specify this accuracy as +/- 1 seconds/day. By now the accuracy of quartz watches is technically much advanced and no longer an aspect of quality of the clockwork but rather a basic requirement. +/- 30 seconds/month does not mean that the watches are 30 seconds slow/fast per month. The value only represents an average tolerance spectrum of deviation. The typical resonance frequency in a quartz watch, which is derived from the mechanical measurements of the quartz crystal, is 32768 vibrations per second or 32768 Hz. The movement may occasionally be slow or fast as the quartz crystal of the clockwork does not always vibrate precisely at 32768 times per second. This is not possible currently due to design constraints. As a rule, these deviations are only a few seconds per month or a few minutes per year. This value also applies to tests under controlled lab conditions, determined at an ambient temperature of 25 °C.

Generally it has to be said that the accuracy of the NEOLOG A-24 II watches may be impacted by external influences such as drastic changes in temperature, jolts, magnetic or electromagnetic radiation.

3 ATM water-resistance
means the wrist watches will be able to withstand a water pressure of 30 m. Swimming causes a slightly higher pressure making watches with a water-resistance of up to 3 ATM unsuitable for swimming or showering. You don't, however, have to remove your NEOLOG A-24 II watch every time you wash your hand, your car or when doing housework.

Temperature dependence
The NEOLOG A-24 II watches have been subjected to thermal stresses as per ISO standards (several hours at 0° to 50 °), which they have passed. The ambient temperature is offset when the watch is worn. At the wrist the temperature of the metal casing is balanced via the natural body heat of the watch wearer - especially in environments colder than 0°C.

Backlight
When the backlight is activated, the display of the NEOLOG A-24 II watches in the colour variants Classic and Dark is presented in blue - the time is displayed in light grey The background of the Orange colour variant turns dark grey while the time is displayed in bright green. The Mirror variant appears in dark grey with time displayed in light grey.

Nickel allergy/Stainless steel casing
The casing of the NEOLOG A-24 II watch is made from V4A steel. The strap's clasp is fashioned from V2A steel. Both are high-quality types of steel and do not release nickel to the surface and thus do not cause nickel allergies. The term "nickel free" refers to this characteristic; it is misleading only in as far as steel always contains nickel and therefore is never "nickel free".
